If the Allies win the current campaign, the 75th will be switching sides and playing Axis for the next campaign. This is a conditional switch. If the Allies do not win the current map, the 75th will remain Allied.

If the Allies do not win the current map, then this policy will roll over to the next map. Whenever the Axis next loose, the 75th will be joining them.

The switch will only be for one campaign.

Comments and opinions are welcome and encouraged.

Well no one has set the forum on fire, that's a good sign.

I'll be honest I'm sorta iffy about it. I hear a lot of bad things about GHC talking down and being ignorant to people. Last night I was on TS with a GHC guy that switched sides because of it.

Plus, I've managed to make a lot of friends late at night, and would hate to have to go through it all again knowing you guys won't be on when I am.

Also, what about new guys recruited on Axis while you are there that don't want to play Allied the following campaign?

Is the switch mandatory?

If we recruit any Axis players who do not want to come back Allied with us, it will be their choice to leave the squad. We are after all, an Allied squad.

The switch is just for one map, not permanently. It will however be mandatory on squad nights (Fridays) to join the squad on the Axis side. If however you want to play Allied on the other nights of the week, that's fine. For any of you that don't know, that has always been our policy and the squad does in fact have several players that do play Axis during the week, but always join us for squad night.

As for leaving your late night friends, I can understand your concern. Just remember that the switch will only be for one map. In addition, it really is an opportunity. During late night US time, there are far more players on the Axis side compared to the Allied. You may find that there are for more people to play and interact with playing late night Axis compared to late night Allied.

I don't have a problem with it, I actually think it'd be pretty fun.
